Blossom Into Spring
Bring beauty to full flower with the softly-modern shades of the season, with Frances Hathaway's* newest ARTISTRY Spring 2011 Collection, motivated by nature’s first blush of spring.
Fresh, prettily-pink plum blossoms and rich apricots are complemented by sunny-warm natural tones and refreshing tender greens that highlight the charming and poetic palette. Floral-embellished compacts, radiant with Swarovski™ Elements, contain palettes of sheer sky tones, cherry blossom hues and colours inspired by newly-budding leaves.

Products
The graceful Plum Blossom design echoes the strength and optimism of spring. Metallic pink plays an important part both in packaging and colour. The designs are transient and infused, creating tonal colour that is feminine and luminous. Swarovski™ Elements in all their beauty reflect the energy, clarity and strength of the first blush of spring.
Both the warm and cool palettes include three eye shadows; the cheek colour comes in a handy duo palette. The velvety-soft powders glide on smoothly, inviting you to experiment with an everyday look or a more daring party look. To complement these palettes there is a choice of two eye pencils and two lip colours.

EYES
1. Slate Gray. Go for a light feel over the eye.
2. Brush Slate Gray over the entire lid to give the eye definition. This is neither overpowering nor too dramatic.
3. TIP: When using a dramatic colour such as Slate Gray, keep the most intense colour near the lash line and blend upwards.
4. Then, apply Fresh Pale Blue over the brow and to the top of the eye and sweep over the entire lid. Easy. Not complicated at all.
CHEEKS
1. First Blush. Use together or separately.
2. Place the lighter colour high on the cheekbone with a tapping motion. Tapping gives you direct placement, which will help you to avoid streaking.
LIP
1. Plum Blossom. Using a lip brush, apply delicately and lightly to stain the lip, as if you have bitten into a piece of fruit. |

EYE
1. Use Golden Chestnut pencil on the entire eye and blend out with a brush.
2. For a pop, use Golden Green with a brush. Apply with a tapping motion and layer until you achieve the depth of colour you desire.
CHEEK
1. Sunset. Use both shades together and directly tap onto the cheekbone with a blush brush.
2. TIP: By using two shades together, you can achieve both highlights and contours.
LIP
1. Apply Apricot Blossom all over the lip with a brush and keep layering until you achieve the desired depth of colour. | |
